Just a few months ago, leaked photos of the Xiaomi Mi 5c surfaced without any hint of the specification. Another set of photos were leaked again – revealing a mid-range handset.
Instead of a Mediatek Helio P20 SoC, MI 5c went with a power-efficient Snapdragon 625 SoC, an octa-core CPU paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The main camera will be sporting a 12MP sensor while an 8MP will be used for taking selfies. The battery could come with 3200mAh of the Mi 5s or lower.

Design-wise, the front resembles of that Samsung Galaxy A 2017 series while the brush metal finish backing of the Mi 5s was replaced with a metal matte coating.
In a previous pre-sales poster, the Xiaomi Mi 5c has listed for CNY999 or $144 or P7200 Philippine peso. While the price is unlikely to stay like that, we are estimating it to be around Php10-12k Philippine peso or $200-$240 USD.
We should see the Xiaomi Mi 5c go official around April, ahead of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6.
