The Redmi Note 3 is so far, delivering on the job, however we can’t help but feel a bit disappointed on some other aspects of the device. With that, let’s find out the five harsh findings we abruptly encountered on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.
Okay, we have to give the Redmi Note 3 the benefit of the doubt, The UI wasn’t a problem because it had certain issues and all, but rather the design and overall UI function was just not there, you feel us? The MIUI 7.0 was expected to dish out a better UI experience as a whole, but become a bit generic and couldn’t live up to a true-blue Android phone. Remember, there isn’t any issue, but the experience as a whole with the MIUI 7.0 was a bit bad. The UI interface felt a bit cheap, as mentioned in our review comparison on the iPhone 6S and Redmi Note 3, so bottom line, we didn’t like the MIUI 7.0.

Usually, we don’t hit a device just because of its generic design, but it felt like the Redmi Note 3’s design was just uninteresting to begin with. The generic looks of the Redmi Note 3 were just way to simple and we usually love simplicity, if it’s given the right path, but the Redmi Note 3’s simple approach went in a little bland and just couldn’t look like more than just a generic Android device. Though, we’re not exactly looking to be amazed on the design, we just wanted to have a pretty unique looking budget device or if not, a perfectly blended simple budget-device.

The Redmi Note 3’s fingerprint scanner is honestly not bad, it just had one tinny tiny problem, its response time is a bit off. We’ve encountered slow response issues on the fingerprint scanner, which was a bit troublesome at first and adding to this is the frequent inaccurate detecting feature of the scanner, which would timely require is to tap the fingerprint scanner at least 3 to 5 times before we make it. However, we understand that sometimes fingerprint scanners can be a very meticulous feature and it sometimes has problems, but, since it has given has some hardships in the past, while we were getting comfortable with the Redmi Note 3, we figured to include it here.
We honestly didn’t like the speaker of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, as mentioned in our iPhone 6S VS Redmi Note 3 review comparison. The tinny and distorted sound outputs were just something that didn’t fit the whole ordeal, despite the Redmi Note 3 being a budget device and all.

Okay, we can’t necessarily hate on the performance of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, especially since other review comparisons aren’t out yet, but the results somehow weren’t exactly astonishing. benchmark scores and performance as a whole was a bit lacking for our taste though the Redmi Note 3 isn’t something that we can call a “bad performer”. The Redmi Note 3 has its limits and those limits are taking its toll in the performance category.
