POCO, formerly known as POCO by Xiaomi and Pocophone, is focused on making smartphones. In August 2018, Xiaomi initially introduced the Poco brand as a mid-range smartphone line. Back in 2020, Poco became an independent brand before it launched its second phone.

It is said to be the mid-range king back in 2022. Just by the chipset it uses, the price-to-value ratio is already up, now if you look at its overall package you will know why the Poco X4 GT is a solid phone in the midrange category.

The X series is one of Poco’s affordable midrange devices in the Philippines. This phone is ideal for those who are looking for an all-rounder smartphone. Its overall performance, display, and even cameras are impressive considering its price.
The Poco X5 Pro boasts a 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED display which is paired with a 120Hz refresh rate and a whopping 108MP triple camera setup. As for its processor, it is powered by a Snapdragon 778G 5G with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its battery is a 5000mAh capacity and is paired with a 67W fast charging.
Poco X5 5G – ₱12,499.00 – ₱13,499.00
The Poco X5 5G is the vanilla variant of the X5 Pro. It has a flagship-level display with a compromise on its performance and camera prowess. It is a budget smartphone with a price tag that is set under 15K. If you are looking for a Poco phone that is good for entertainment use and a decent day-to-day driver then X5 5G is a viable option. But if you are trying to squeeze in overall performance within your budget the Poco X5 5G may not be the phone for you.

The Poco M5 series is consist of two devices, the M5s, and the M5. The Poco M5s is a device that is centered on entertainment use and camera performance. Since it is on entry-level pricing, whether you want a camera-centric phone or not, the Poco M5 can still be a viable daily driver.

Poco M4 5G – ₱9,599.00
The Poco M4 5G got released in the Philippines back in September 2022 and is one of the cheapest 5G-ready smartphones that you can buy. It is packed with specs that are impressive considering its price tag. An FHD+ display with a fast refresh rate, decent cameras, and even a trustworthy chipset.
The Specs that it carries is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 which is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage which is expandable via MicroUSB. Poco M5 – ₱9,499.00 – ₱10,499.00
This is the M5 series device that is focused more on gaming. It is an ideal gaming smartphone for those who are conscious of their budget. It is packed with features that are ideal for gamers, like a large battery for longer gaming, a decent gaming chipset, and decent RAM and storage. It may not be enough to run games like Genshin Impact or other games that are beefier.
As for specs, it boasts a 6.58″ IPS LCD display which is paired with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset which is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.
