Today we are going to compare two smartphones, Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ vs OPPO A60 both are in the same price point, but the other one is more affordable and at the same time offers the most when it comes to spec sheet and performance.
First, let us look at the most important part of their spec sheet, the chipset. The Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is powered by a Helio G100 chip while the OPPO A60 runs on a Snapdragon 680.

For a device that is packed with tons of features, it is surprising that this one is lighter, and thinner compared to the OPPO A60. The HOT 50 Pro+ weighs in at 162g with a thickness of 6.8mm compared to Oppo A60’s 186g and a thickness of 7.7mm. Because of those dimensions, the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is an overall better device for day-to-day use.

That is why it is always surprising to encounter a device that packs a midrange display with an affordable price tag.
In this comparison, the display of the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is comparable to devices that are priced higher while the OPPO A60 features the most common display of an entry-level smartphone.
The display of the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ boasts a 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED display that is paired with a 120hz refresh rate, while the OPPO A60 only comes with a 6.67″ HD+ IPS LCD that is then paired with a 90Hz refresh rate.
Infinix also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor while OPPO A60 still has the standard side-mounted sensor. During our video loop test, the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ lasted for about 13 hours and 26 minutes while the OPPO A60 lasted about 12 hours and 58 minutes. Even though both phones offer the same battery Infinix lasted longer thanks to its battery-efficient display.
As for their charging, juicing up the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ with its 33W charging took about 1 hour and 18 minutes while the OPPO A60 only took about 1 hour.
When it comes to their pricing, Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is priced at PHP8,499 for the 8GB+256GB configuration while the OPPO A60 is priced at PHP9,999 for the 8GB+128GB config.
If you are looking for overall value then between these two devices, the Infinix HOT 50 Pro+ is the better choice. Out of all the categories that we talked about the only part where the OPPO A60 comes out on top is the charging speed.
On the other hand, the HOT 50 Pro+ offers a more impressive display, better chipset, longer battery life, and impressive build quality.Â
